Heybike started in a small workshop in Copenhagen in 2021. We were tired of electric bikes that looked like motorcycles, weighed as much as them, and didn't last more than a season.
So we built our own. A bike that disappears under you. One you don't think about because it just works — the motor blends in, the battery hides inside the frame, and the belt drive needs no maintenance.
Today we're a team of 24 designers, engineers, and riders. Every Heybike is assembled by hand in our Lisbon workshop and tested on the cobblestones outside our front door before it ships.
